Transfer Credits

To guarantee that Clark Honors College students graduate with a full command of the liberal arts, all freshmen and transfer students should plan to take the 200-level literature and history sequences within the first two years. Depending on test scores, students may use AP or IB credits toward honors college math, science and second language requirements, applicable major requirements, or university electives. Check with UO Office of the Registrar for the most current information. In most cases, Clark Honors College will not accept courses taken at other universities or colleges as substitutes for courses with an HC prefix. Students who transfer into the Clark Honors College as sophomores should discuss the possibility of substitutions with a CHC advisor. Final decisions on transfer credits are made by the Dean of the Clark Honors College in consultation with the student's advisor and the CHC Resident Faculty.
