David E. Boyes Computer Lab

The Clark Honors College maintains a computing lab exclusively for the use of honors college students.
The lab—located in Chapman 302—holds nine iMacs; there are six additional iMacs in the CHC Library and another iMac in the CHC Lounge. Software installed on each of these computers includes Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Office 2008 and the basic iLife package (Safari, iMovie, iTunes, QuickTime player, and DVD player). Each of these stations offers subsidized printing substantially discounted from the cost of printing at other UO computer labs. Cost for printing is two cents per page for CHC students, paid through the UO's Campus Cash debit card system.
The computer lab is normally open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students who become proctors can check out a building key and receive the lock code to access the computer lab and the library from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., five days a week.
The University of Oregon offers wireless networking connections at multiple locations across campus. All floors of Chapman Hall are covered by wireless service. Students may log on anywhere in the building using their DuckID name and password.
