What is the CHCSA?
While Clark Honors College students benefit from academic perks such as small class sizes, student-determined research, and internship opportunities, there still comes a time when every young adult needs to have a little fun. At this intersection of intellect and entertainment stands the Clark Honors College Student Association (CHCSA).
All Clark Honors College students are members of CHCSA and may participate in any CHCSA activities. There are no dues.
"The group is great at brain-storming creative ideas and actually following through with them" - Dan Keller
Mission Statement
The mission of the Clark Honors College Student Association is to provide a forum for student dialogue and debate; opportunities for student leadership, service and community building; and a representative voice within the CHC administration and the university at large.

Times and dates may vary by term but are posted in Chapman Hall and on the CHCSA website. Meeting minutes are available on the website. Events
CHCSA events have included barbecues, beach trips, ice cream socials, and trips to Ashland to enjoy plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The CHCSA is also involved with life on campus. Members give input in the selection process when Clark Honors College hires new tenure-track professors, as well as a new director every four years. Other projects have included: re-decorating the CHC student lounge, developing a CHC literary magazine, and designing a mascot for the honors college.
