These listings include internship opportunities available through CHC alumni. Some consist of pre-existing internship postions. Other listings simply outline areas in which alumni are able and willing to create an internship specific to a student's needs and interests. For more listings, including both local and national internships posted weekly, see our Internships Message Board on the third floor of Chapman Hall.

Education

Community Colleges and K-12 school districts. There are wide variety of positions and responsibilities, including science, literature, personnel, management, technical, computers, etc. in the Three Rivers School District. All are short of personnel due to budget shortfalls.

Exact areas of internship would vary by the position, with majors (B.S. and B.A.) required in most areas of endeavor. Positions do not currently exist, but might be created if a qualified applicant contacted certain people.

Interns with a good knowledge base who just lack experience and application of knowledge could gain it this way and could contribute to society. Monetary compensation not likely.

Contacts: Deborah Breckner and Dr. Peter Angstadt
