Mentorships

My mentor was great. He was very nice, and eager to help me out. I went to visit him in Colorado and he showed me his work. He was really fun to hang out with and taught me a lot.

The Clark Honors College Mentorship program provides for students a unique opportunity to develop individual relationships with CHC alumni. By encouraging on-going contact between students and alumni, our aim is to orient you to the professional world, providing the opportunity to gain valuable experience and build networks. We maintain a wide range of alumni mentors from a vast array of fields, including both seasoned professionals and recent graduates. Why a mentorship?

A mentorship can help you to get the most of your college experience and plan for the future by enabling you to tap into the vast experience of past CHC alumni. A mentor can help you to better define your goals, as well as maximize college opportunities. Students are carefully matched with someone who shares their academic major, career aspirations, or other interests. Then, once a match is made, it is up to the student and their mentor to decide the type and level of interaction.
