Students in this course will examine conflicting perspectives and beliefs about public education within the context of increased racial/ethnic and social diversity in schools. Students will explore how “life in schools” may be experienced by underrepresented groups as well as conceptualize educational opportunities and experiences based on principles of equity and access.
