Feeling overwhelmed or distracted? This 1-credit, five-session course offers practical tools to help you feel more focused, calm, and present—both in and out of the classroom. Designed specifically for college students, the course introduces evidence-based mindfulness and meditation practices that support stress management, better sleep, and mental clarity. Through guided practice, group discussions, short readings, and at-home exercises, you’ll learn how to bring mindfulness into your everyday life. All are welcome and no prior experience is needed.
Graduation Requirement: This 1-credit, pass/no pass course can be counted toward the independent study credits in Option B of the CHC Electives requirement.
