This course is designed for anyone interested in the study of medical ethics for which an in-depth understanding of philosophical theory is not a prerequisite. Concepts in medical ethics will be examined primarily with case studies and classic essays based on interesting and/or controversial issues.  At the completion of the course students will have a broad-based background in applied medical ethics.
