Have you wondered how your degree will launch you into your career? Ever wanted to talk to CHC Alums out in the real world navigating their own career paths? Intrigued by learning how to network and the power of connection? We have a class for you. In spring term, CHC is offering another brand-new networking course—focused on health professions—as part of our CHC Alumni Project course series. You will work closely with a range of alumni and friends of the CHC who are working as doctors, nurses, midwives, audiologists, optometrists, physical therapists, and physician assistants, as well as researchers, medical examiners, and biostatisticians. These accomplished CHC Ducks and friends of the honors college, whose medical training and experience was obtained from institutions like OHSU, George Washington University, the University of Chicago, Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota (to name a few), want to help empower you to launch your career, so don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity to gain insight into your future! Consider registering for this two-credit, Pass/No Pass course that involves real conversations and real-life examples. Plus, you will build a top-level LinkedIn Profile, polish your résumé, and get early access to our new CHC mentoring platform, The Network.
*Please note: This course is meant to help students explore diverse careers in health care; it is not intended for students who are currently applying for medical school and who need assistance with the application process. If you are currently applying for medical school, please consider taking the CAS 399: Health Grad Application class (2 cr), which is being offered during Spring 2026 by UO’s pre-health advising team.
