Urban Birding explores how urbanization affects wildlife by studying bird species on the University of Oregon campus. Students examine avian diversity, behavior, ecology, and conservation, investigating how birds adapt to urban environments, interact with campus habitats, and respond to human activities. Through field observations and data analysis, students develop skills in experimental design and scientific writing by conducting a term-long research project and refining their work through revision.
