For the first time ever, more than two dozen first-year students were awarded UO’s most prestigious academic-based scholarship.

Of the nine first-year students who received UO’s most prestigious and generous undergraduate scholarship, six identify their moms as role models, several love their music, and James Baldwin, Jane Austen and Michelle Obama (among others) are tops for a conversation.

Stamps Scholars hail from across Oregon and the United States. They are academic powerhouses whose work in high school and beyond helped earn them UO’s most prestigious and generous undergraduate scholarship. We introduce you to the nine scholars who just started their first year of college at the Clark Honors College.
